I have been making jewelry for nearly a decade now. I started out as a rockhound developing a love of all stones that are unique in some way. I specialize in stones with that extra eye-catching sparkle, flash, multitude of colors or color change. Naturally jewelry making became a way to turn many of my finds into a way to get some of that money back. I have mostly sold to friends and family, or word of mouth. Now I wanted to try a wider area. I use sterling silver or gold filled wire. Gold filled, which if you don't know has a thicker layer of gold rather than the very thin layer of gold on plated metals.
I also do oil paintings. I have the most wonderful paints that have shimmer and iridescence that change with the different types of light and angle you look at it. It gives them a whole new life.
